Why “STORYTELLING”?

Because Storytelling is a MIRACULOUS parenting tool!

Due to a story’s PLOT and CHARACTERIZATION, Love, Faith, Politeness, Courtesy, Diligence, Obedience, and other character-building lessons are set in motion, drawn in Pictures, and watched like Movies. Consequently, these character-building lessons are precisely defined and crystal-clear to your child, and are translated into the child’s character.

Annette Simons relates from her book “Story Factor”. “Story is a form of mental imprint. A story can mold perceptions and touch the unconscious mind. When you connect to the unconscious mind, you hold a leverage of influence at such a basic level that it lasts

a lifetime. When you want to influence others, there is no tool more powerful than story. Jesus used story to redirect people’s lives.”

Thus, storytelling defines crystal-clear the facts and data to one’s mind that creates influence and direction in the formation of thoughts and feelings that serve as the building blocks of one’s formation of character or traits.

“Sow a Thought, Reap an Act. Sow an Act, Reap a Habit. Sow a Habit, Reap a Character. Sow a Character, Reap a Destiny.” This poem confirmed the above statement.

“Parents are entrusted to teach their children to walk in God’s ways and to discipline in love.”

Proverbs 22: 6 instructed you, parents. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”
